How to get there

From the airport

  • By cab:

    • ask a cab driver to take you to Guachaca. He should charge about $140,000 from the airport.

    • You can call Hader (+57) 3177068988, who will charge you $100,000 from the airport (confirm the price with him when you tell him that you are clients of Finca La Lorita).

  • By bus:

    1. Get on a blue public buseta that will take you to the avenue a few blocks from the market.

    2. Go to the market at the intersection of 11th street and Carrera 9 at the market and get on the green and blue bus that says "Palomino" and/or "Tayrona" and/or "Buritaca" and/or "Guachaca" on its sign. The trip will cost you about 7000 pesos.

From Santa Marta

  • By cab:

    • ask a cab driver to take you to Guachaca. He should charge about $120.000 from downtown Santa Marta.

    • you can call Hader (+57) 3177068988, who will charge you $100,000 from downtown Santa Marta (confirm the price with him when you tell him that you are clients of Finca La Lorita).

  • By bus:

    1. go to the Buenavista shopping center, or to the intersection of Calle 11 and Carrera 9 at the market, and get on a green and blue bus that says "Palomino" and/or "Tayrona" and/or "Buritaca" and/or "Guachaca" on its sign.

    2. Get off at Guachaca. The trip will cost you about 7000 pesos.

From Guachaca

Just after the Guachaca bridge (coming from Santa Marta), there is a road that goes up to the right.

  • By mototaxi:

    • In front of the soccer field, there are usually motorcycle taxi drivers waiting for you. You can ask them to take you to La Lorita ("where Jacquie la francesa" if you don't know where it is). They should charge you about 4 to 5000 pesos to take one person.

    • You can call the motorcycle taxi drivers Jorge (+57) 3225832281 or Franklin (+57) 320620619.

  • On foot (about 15 minutes walk) :

    • follow the road straight ahead.

    • at some point the road splits in two, go straight ahead.

    • after crossing the dry creek (depending on the time of the year, it can be dry or with water), call the first small gate on the left.
